The flower heads are composed of many tiny white disc florets surrounded by a fringe of white, woolly hairs. The leaves are narrow and covered with white hairs.

Antennaria neglecta is a species of flowering plant native to North America. It is found in Canada (except Newfoundland and Labrador) and the northeastern and north-central United States. It is an herb up to 25 cm (10 inches) tall with up to 8 flower heads per plant. The flower heads are composed of many tiny white disc florets surrounded by a fringe of white, woolly hairs. The leaves are narrow and covered with white hairs. Male and female flowers are borne on separate plants, some populations being composed entirely of female plants.
