Phalaenopsis mysorensis is a type of orchid that is native to India and Sri Lanka and is rarely found in cultivation. Its name is derived from the Indian city of Mysore. This miniature epiphytic herb has flat green roots and produces two to four oblong elliptic leaves on a short stem. The leaves are shed in dry conditions. The plant also produces one to four white flowers on axillary, lateral racemes, which are small in size and resemble those of the closely related Phalaenopsis deliciosa. This species belongs to the Deliciosae section of the Phalaenopsis subgenus and is typically found in wet, humid niches on tree trunks and branches covered in moss. It is not known to grow lithophytically.
