Phalaenopsis luteola is a species of orchid endemic to Borneo. It is a lithophytic plant with fleshy adventitious roots, which are produced on very short stems, and up to three leaves. The flowers are pale yellow with irregular brown transverse barring. It is differentiated from Phalaenopsis maculata by its larger flowers and different shaped lateral sepals. It is very rarely cultivated and information on its distribution is insufficient for conservation efforts. International trade is regulated through the CITES appendix II regulations of international trade.
