Paphiopedilum delenatii is a species of orchid that was first described in 1924 and named after French orchid enthusiast Delanat. It was thought to be extinct until it was rediscovered in the wild in 1993. The plant blooms in December in its natural habitat, but in cultivation, it typically blooms from January to March. The flowers are fragrant. Paphiopedilum delenatii is found in southeastern Vietnam at elevations of 800 to 1300 meters, growing in granite pebbles and mossy tree trunks near water in shady areas. It is subjected to fog in the fall and winter and heavy rain in the summer. There are also different forms of this species, including Paphiopedilum delenatii f. albinum, Paphiopedilum delenatii f. vinicolor, and Paphiopedilum delenatii f. lutescens.
