Oncidium ensatum, also known as the Latin American orchid or Florida dancinglady orchid, is a type of orchid that can be found in various regions including southern Florida, southern Mexico, Central America, Cuba, the Bahamas, and northwestern Venezuela. It can grow up to 100 cm tall and has narrow linear to lanceolate leaves that can reach up to 10 cm in length. The inflorescence, or flower cluster, can either arch or hang and can grow up to 250 cm long. The flowers of Oncidium ensatum are yellow with brown spots.
