Macropodanthus cootesii, also known as Cootes' macropodanthus, is a species of orchid that is found exclusively in the Philippines. It was named after Australian orchid enthusiast Jim Cootes and was described in 2010 by Dr. George Tiong in the German journal Die Orchidee. This species belongs to the family Orchidaceae and is a relatively recent discovery.
