Epidendrum flexuosum is a species of orchid found in Central America that grows in the forest canopy, often on Guava species. It is protected by ants, bees, wasps, or hornets, and is difficult to grow without them. It has a sympodial growth habit with slender, unswollen stems, and bears non-resupinate lavender flowers on a congested raceme at the end of a long peduncle. Its chromosome number is 2n=28. It has several synonyms, including E. imatophyllum, E. imantophyllum, E. imetrophyllum, E. lorifolium, and E. palpigerum.
