Epidendrum armeniacum, also known as the "Apricot-coloured Epidendrum," is a type of orchid that grows in Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, and Peru at altitudes of 1-2 km. It has a sympodial growth habit and its stems do not form pseudobulbs. The leaves are narrow, leathery, and dark green on top with a pointed tip. The flowers are small and apricot-colored, with maroon bracts and a fleshy, hood-shaped lip. The specific epithet, "armeniacum," refers to the apricot fruit, which has a similar color to the flowers of this orchid.
