Catasetum barbatum, also known as the bearded catasetum, is a type of orchid found in the Amazonas and Central Brazil regions. This plant is commonly found in open, lowland areas near rivers. What sets this orchid apart is its ability to produce male, female, and hermaphroditic flowers, which are pollinated by male euglossine bees.
