Bulbophyllum tokioi is a plant species belonging to the Orchidaceae family and is found only in Taiwan. It was first described in 1935 by Noriaki Fukuyama. The plant has creeping rhizomes and lacks pseudobulbs. Its leaves are small, fleshy, and hairless, with some having membranaceous sheaths at the base. The plant produces slender and erect scapes with elliptic bracts. B. tokioi has two pale yellow flowers with red spots or striations. The sepals are membranaceous and hairless, with one being oblong and the other two being obliquely triangular and elliptic. The petals are oblong, and the lip is attached to the thin column foot, which is ovate-triangular and purple-tinged. The plant also has a triangularly conic anther with two pollinia.
