It is native to tropical Asia, including India, China, Thailand, and Vietnam. It is a small epiphytic orchid with a single, thin, upright stem that grows up to 10 cm tall. The leaves are thin and lance-shaped, up to 8 cm long. The flowers are small and yellowish-green, with a lip that is curved and pointed. They are produced in clusters of up to 30 flowers on a single inflorescence.

Bulbophyllum retusiusculum is a small epiphytic orchid native to tropical Asia. It has a single, thin, upright stem that can reach up to 10 cm tall and thin, lance-shaped leaves up to 8 cm long.
