Bulbophyllum pandanetorum is a rare orchid species that is found in Cameroon and Gabon. It grows in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests at elevations between 200 and 950 meters. Due to habitat loss, this plant is facing a threat of extinction. It was first discovered in 1925 in Gabon and has not been collected again in that country. In 1996, it was found in Cameroon for the first time, but it is still at risk due to habitat loss caused by farming. The extent of its endangerment in Gabon is still unknown.
