Bulbophyllum bowkettiae, also known as the striped snake orchid, is a type of orchid found in tropical North Queensland, Australia. It is an epiphytic or lithophytic herb with thin, creeping rhizomes and flattened pseudobulbs. Each pseudobulb has a dark green leaf and a single cream-colored flower with red stripes. The flower is about 5-7 mm long and blooms from April to September. This orchid was first described in 1885 and is named after Eva F. Bowkett, a woman who painted illustrations of Queensland orchids. It is found in the McIlwraith Range and extends to the coastal lowlands in the south of Innisfail.
