Aspasia lunata is a species of orchid native to tropical South America, found in Brazil, Bolivia, and Paraguay at elevations of 200-750 metres. It forms large colonies, but is not particularly common. It is an epiphyte, living on thick stems, usually in areas of transition between shady forest and open areas, and never exposed to direct sunlight.
