Moraea viscaria is a species of plant in the Iridaceae family, known for its sticky stem and branches. It is a cormous geophyte, growing up to 45 cm tall and producing white flowers with outer tepals measuring 15-23 mm and inner tepals measuring 14-20 mm. The flowers are sweetly scented and have bright red pollen. This plant typically blooms from October to December and is found in sandy or stony flats in the Western Cape region of South Africa, ranging from Saldanha to Cape Agulhas.
