Crocus angustifolius, commonly known as the cloth-of-gold crocus, is a species of flowering plant in the genus Crocus of the family Iridaceae. It is native to southern Ukraine and Armenia, and is a cormous perennial growing to 5 cm (2.0 in) tall and wide. The narrow grass-like leaves with silver central stripe appear in late winter or early spring, followed by bright yellow fragrant flowers with maroon blotches on the outer petals. It is widely cultivated and has gained the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. It is winter hardy to USDA zone 5.
