Thelionema umbellatum, commonly known as the lemon flax lily, is a species of perennial herb native to Australia. Growing up to 40 cm high, the lily-like flowers are white with yellow stamens and are found in Tasmania, Victoria, and New South Wales, south of Swansea. It was first published by Robert Brown in 1810 and was initially known as Stypandra umbellatum, but was transferred to a new genus, Thelionema, in 1985. The specific epithet umbellatum is misleading, as the flowers form in cymes rather than umbels.
