Bulbine bulbosa, also known as bulbine lily, is a perennial herb native to Australia. It has thick roots, channelled leaves, and yellow flowers with hairy stamen filaments. The species was first described in 1810 and is found in most Australian states except for Western Australia and the Northern Territory. It grows in a variety of habitats and has been used as a food source by Aboriginal people. In horticulture, it is valued for its fragrant flowers and moderate frost-hardiness. However, it can be toxic to livestock if consumed.
