Aloe rubroviolacea, also known as Arabian aloe, is a succulent plant with large rosettes of blue-green leaves and a thick stem. It is native to the mountains of Yemen and Saudi Arabia, growing at high elevations above 2100 meters. This plant often produces clusters of smaller plants, and older specimens can have stems over 3 meters long. It was first described by Schweinf in 1895.
