Aloe rauhii, also known as snowflake aloe, is a rare and resilient succulent found only in Madagascar. It is named after Professor Werner Rauh, a renowned botanist. This plant has small rosettes of leaves with distinct white spots and teeth, resembling snowflakes. It propagates through clumping and can turn purplish orange in full sunlight. Madagascar, known for its diverse and endemic flora, is facing threats to its plant life. Aloe rauhii's unique characteristics and endemic status may be attributed to the island's separation from Africa millions of years ago.
