Aloe lateritia is a type of succulent plant that is commonly found in open grasslands and rocky bushlands in East Africa. Its leaves are light green with white margins and pale spots, and turn brown-green when exposed to sunlight. The plant produces glossy orange-red flowers on branched inflorescences. It is widespread in Tanzania and can also be found in southern Kenya and the northern part of Malawi. Another variety, Aloe lateritia var. graminicola, is found in the grasslands of western Kenya.
