Aloe kilifiensis is a unique plant species found in the coastal areas of Kenya and Tanzania. Its habitat is threatened by agricultural activities, and it is also collected for its distinctively colored flowers. This species is part of the spotted aloes group and can be easily mistaken for other similar species in East Africa. Its leaves can grow up to 9 cm wide and its flowers have a noticeable constriction above the base. The plant also has an inflorescence with five or more branches.
