Aloe ballyi, also known as the "rat aloe," is a flowering plant found in Kenya and Tanzania. It has tall, slender stems and long, straight leaves that do not remain on the stem for long. Unlike other aloes, this species is poisonous. Its flowers are mildly tubular and grow in the Eastern Arc Mountains and coastal forests, often found alongside acacias and other succulents. Aloe ballyi is a rare plant, making it a unique and interesting addition to any environment.
