It has a distinct appearance, with small, hard leaves growing in tufts or clumps on stilt-like roots. The plant's foliage reaches a height of 15 cm and has long, narrow leaves. Its flower stalks can grow up to 20 cm and produce clusters of white flowers with similar petals and sepals. This species is only found in a few isolated locations near Cooper Creek in the wild.
