Dracaena singularis is a succulent plant found in Ethiopia, Kenya, and Tanzania. Initially, it was mistakenly classified in the genus Boophane, but later it was correctly identified as a member of the Sanseviera genus. However, in the 1980s, the entire Sanseviera genus was merged with Dracaena, making Dracaena singularis its current classification. This species is named singularis because it has only one large leaf when fully grown, but displays multiple small leaves in its juvenile stage.
