Camassia scilloides, also known as Atlantic camas, wild hyacinth, and eastern camas, is a perennial herb native to the eastern half of North America. It grows up to half a meter tall and has light blue or whitish flowers with yellow anthers. The plant's bulb was used as a food source by Native American groups, but caution should be taken as it can be confused with poisonous deathcamas. It is important to note that the name Camassia esculenta should not be confused with Camassia quamash subsp. quamash.
