Hymenocallis tubiflora is a plant species found in Trinidad and northern South America. It was first described in 1812 and has since been reported in various countries including Trinidad, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, and northern Brazil. This bulb-forming perennial has long, lanceolate leaves and white flowers that droop at flowering time. It is popular for its beautiful and fragrant flowers and is commonly grown in tropical countries. It has also been naturalized in Malaysia and can be grown in temperate regions with proper care and protection from cold weather.
