Hyospathe macrorhachis is a type of flowering plant that belongs to the Arecaceae family. It is native to Ecuador and can only be found there. This plant typically grows in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. Unfortunately, its population is at risk due to habitat loss.
