Bactris nancibaensis is a rare flowering plant that belongs to the Arecaceae family and is found exclusively in French Guiana. Its population is threatened due to loss of habitat. There are only two known specimens of this plant, one of which has been relocated to a botanical garden and has been observed to flower. The other specimen is located near a road.
