Cheirodendron trigynum, also known as ʻŌlapa, is a flowering plant that is native to Hawaii. It is a medium-sized tree that can grow up to 15 meters tall and has a trunk diameter of 0.6 meters. This species is found in mixed mesic and wet forests on all main islands of Hawaii, at elevations ranging from 310 to 2,190 meters. It is commonly found as an understory tree and is abundant in its habitat.
