However, it is still considered a rare and threatened species due to its limited distribution and small populations. Conservation efforts have been made to protect and monitor the species in its native habitats. It is also being cultivated in gardens as an ornamental plant. Overall, Trinia glauca, or honewort, is a low-growing umbellifer found in rocky areas, with a limited distribution in central and southern Europe and southwest Asia. It is considered a rare and threatened species in Britain, with efforts being made to protect and monitor its populations.
