Spuriopimpinella brachycarpa, also known as chamnamul or short-fruit pimpinella, is a species of scented plant in the Apiaceae family. It has oval, saw-toothed leaves and white flowers that bloom from June to August. In Korean cuisine, the young leaves and stems of chamnamul are used in dishes such as namul and kimchi. It is also becoming popular in Korean-style western dishes like chamnamul pasta and pesto. This versatile herb adds a unique flavor and texture to various dishes.
