Perideridia bolanderi, also known as Bolander's yampah, is a perennial herb found in the western United States. It grows in a variety of habitats and can reach up to one meter in height. The plant has long, slender stems and leaves with many lobes and teeth. Its flowers are small and white, arranged in spherical clusters, and produce oblong fruits. The Atsugewi and Miwok tribes used the tuberous roots of this plant as a food source.
