Ferulago galbanifera, also known as Ferulago campestris, is a perennial herb belonging to the Apiaceae family. It can grow up to 50-120cm tall and has a branching stem and pinnate leaves. The leaves are ovate-triangular and can reach a length of 30-60cm. This plant produces large, flat, yellow inflorescences with five rounded, yellow petals that bloom from July to August. Its fruits are oblong obovate and about 12-20mm long. This species is native to the Mediterranean region, from Morocco to Turkey and southern European Russia. It can be found in dry meadows, cliffs, and rocky areas at elevations of 0-900m above sea level.
