Cymopterus aboriginum, also known as Indian springparsley, is a small, taprooted perennial plant in the carrot family. It has no stem and instead forms a patch of basal leaves on the ground, which are gray-green and highly divided. The plant produces tall peduncles that support brownish umbels of small white flowers. It is native to California and Nevada and can be found in the rocky soils of the Mojave Desert mountains.
