Azorella polaris, also known as the Macquarie Island cabbage, is a flowering plant found in the subantarctic islands of New Zealand and Australia's Macquarie Island. It belongs to the family Araliaceae and is not closely related to cabbage. This megaherb can grow up to a meter in height and was used by early explorers and sealers as a food source and to prevent scurvy. It is classified as "At Risk - Naturally Uncommon" in New Zealand and was threatened by introduced species until their eradication in 2011.
