Anthriscus caucalis, also known as burr chervil or bur-chervil, is a plant in the Apiaceae family. It closely resembles chervil, a popular cooking herb. This plant has thin, hollow stems and produces white flowers in clusters. Its light green leaves are triangular and have multiple leaflets. The small, hard fruits are covered in hooked spines and are about 3 millimeters in length. Native to Europe, Asia, and North America, this plant has been introduced to other regions as well.
