Amorphophallus napalensis is a plant species found in the Himalayan regions of Bhutan, Nepal, and India. It belongs to the Candarum section and has a unique spathe shape and shorter spadix. The plant is pollinated by beetles, specifically those attracted to the scent of methyl mercaptan. In Nagaland, the most common beetle visitors were from the Parastasia genus.
