Sagittaria pygmaea, also known as the dwarf arrowhead or pygmy arrowhead, is a type of aquatic plant found in various countries including Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Bhutan, and China. It typically grows in shallow water in marshes, channels, and rice paddies. This perennial herb reproduces through stolons and has long, linear leaves that can reach up to 30 centimetres in length. It is not lobed and has a slightly spatula-like shape.
