Sagittaria demersa, also known as Chihuahuan arrowhead, is an aquatic plant species native to north-central Mexico and the northern part of the US State of New Mexico. It is an annual herb that can grow up to 60 cm tall, with flat, very long and narrow leaves up to 55 cm long. It is found mostly submerged in streams and lakes, and is popularly used in aquariums and water gardens.
