Amentotaxus poilanei is a unique conifer species found only in Vietnam. Belonging to the yew family, Taxaceae, it is commonly known as Poilane's catkin yew. This species is native to Vietnam and has distinct characteristics that set it apart from other conifers. Its name is derived from the French botanist, Jean Poilane, who first discovered and described it. Amentotaxus poilanei is an important part of the biodiversity in Vietnam and plays a crucial role in the ecosystem.
