Ricinocarpos stylosus is a unique species of flowering plant that belongs to the Euphorbiaceae family and is found only in the Norseman district of Western Australia. It is a spreading shrub or small tree, with long, narrow leaves and flowers that can be either male or female. The plant is covered in soft, white hairs and blooms between August and January. It was first described in 1904 and is commonly found in woodlands and open forests in the Coolgardie and Mallee bioregions. Its name, stylosus, refers to its distinct style.
