Acacia aptaneura, also known as slender mulga, is a shrub native to central and western Australia. It can reach heights of up to 12 meters and has a conifer-like appearance. The plant blooms between March and May and produces yellow flower-heads. Its seed pods are brown with a flat-oblong shape and contain wingless seeds. This species was first described in 2012 and has several synonyms. It is found in drier areas of Western Australia, South Australia, the Northern Territory, and parts of New South Wales and Queensland. It can grow in a variety of soil types and habitats.
