Deutzia monbeigii, also known as Monbeig's deutzia, is a flowering plant native to Southwest China. It was first collected by George Forrest in 1917 and introduced to the UK in 1920. This plant grows up to 1.2 meters tall and has ovate, pointed, toothed leaves. Its bright pink or white star-shaped flowers bloom in early to midsummer. It has been awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit in the UK. To grow this plant, it requires moist, well-drained soil and can be propagated using softwood cuttings in the summer.
