Carphephorus bellidifolius, also known as the sandy-woods chaffhead, is a type of plant found in North America. It belongs to the Asteraceae family and is commonly found in the southeastern United States, specifically in Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. This herb can grow up to 60 cm tall and has a hairless appearance. Its inflorescence is open and loose, with small purple flower heads that contain disc florets but no ray florets.
