Agoseris grandiflora, also known as California dandelion, bigflower agoseris, or grassland agoseris, is a perennial herb native to western North America. It can be found in various habitats, from British Columbia to California to Utah. The plant has a basal patch of leaves and a tall, hairy peduncle that supports a flower head with yellow ray florets. Its fruit is an achene with a long beak and white pappus. There are two varieties of Agoseris grandiflora, including var. grandiflora and var. leptophylla. This plant is commonly found in meadows and forest openings.
